This Privacy Policy explains how Vector Interceptor ("we", "us", or "our"), developed and published by David Ravenscroft / RavenNet, handles user information when you play our mobile game application (the "Game" or "App").

Summary: Vector Interceptor is designed with an offline-first architecture. We do not operate external private game servers, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. The Game integrates official Google services (Google Play Games Services, Google Mobile Ads, and Google Play Billing) to provide cloud saves, leaderboards, achievements, optional rewarded ads, and ad removal.

1. Information Handled Directly by the Developer

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information directly to proprietary servers:

We do not collect or store your real name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
We do not create or maintain proprietary user accounts or databases.
We do not track or access your physical GPS location.
We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or media files.
Your core gameplay progression, local high scores, and audio/control preferences are stored locally on your device.

2. Third-Party Services and Google Integration

To deliver modern mobile gaming features such as cloud progression, competitive leaderboards, optional rewarded advertisements, and in-app purchases, Vector Interceptor integrates standard, official Google APIs and SDKs. These third-party services process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

A. Google Play Games Services (Authentication, Leaderboards, Achievements & Cloud Save)

Vector Interceptor offers optional integration with Google Play Games Services to enhance your gameplay experience:

Player Profile & Authentication: When you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google authenticates your account and provides the Game with your public Gamer Tag, player ID, and gamer avatar. This enables the Game to display your achievements and post high scores to public leaderboards.
Cloud Save Snapshots: If signed in, the Game can synchronize your game progress, wave milestones, high score, and perk upgrades to Google Cloud Storage (Google Play Games Saved Games / Snapshots). This enables seamless restoration of your progress across multiple devices or after reinstalling the app.
Data Protection & Scope: We only access the minimum data necessary for Google Play Games functionality. We do not access your personal email inbox, contacts, or personal Google Drive documents.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance:
Vector Interceptor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

B. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Vector Interceptor incorporates Google AdMob to deliver optional rewarded advertisements (e.g., watching a brief video to receive optional bonus rewards). AdMob may automatically collect and process certain device and diagnostic information to serve ads, prevent fraud, and report metrics:

Device Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID) and technical device fingerprints.
Performance & Diagnostics: Application responsiveness, crash reports, and ad request latency.
Ad Interaction Data: Views, clicks, and impressions.

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertisements at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

C. Google Play In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The Game offers an optional one-time purchase to permanently remove ads. All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. We never receive, process, or store your credit card details or financial information. We only receive an anonymized confirmation token from Google Play to unlock the premium feature within your game.

3. Android Permissions Requested

The application only requests standard network and feedback permissions necessary for game features:

android.permission.INTERNET: Enables loading rewarded video ads, syncing Google Play Games leaderboards and achievements, saving/loading cloud snapshots, and validating in-app purchases.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Allows the game to check whether an active internet connection is available before attempting network requests.
android.permission.VIBRATE: Provides tactile haptic feedback during arcade combat (firing weapons, detonating smart bombs, and taking damage). Can be toggled in game settings.

4. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Vector Interceptor is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). 5. Data Retention, Control, and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

Local Device Data: You can delete all locally stored game scores, preferences, and save files at any time by clearing application data (Settings > Apps > Vector Interceptor > Storage > Clear Data) or by uninstalling the application.
Google Play Games & Cloud Save Data: You can view, manage, or delete your Google Play Games activity and cloud saved games via the official Google Play Games app on your device (Settings > Your data > Delete Play Games account & data).
Revoking Access: You can revoke Vector Interceptor's access to your Google Account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions dashboard.

6. Security

We are committed to protecting player privacy. Because we do not store personal information on external private servers, your data is not exposed to remote server breaches on our end. All interactions with Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, and Google AdMob are secured through encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols and Google's industry-standard security infrastructure.
